Tánaiste Publishes Report on Cross-Border Retail Business Costs

In comparing Dublin and Belfast, the study found that while operating costs in Dublin were on average 25 per cent higher than Belfast, given that operating costs accounted for only 20 to 25 per cent of the total cost of a retail good, such costs could only justify a 5 to 6 per cent differential in the retail price of the same good between Dublin and Belfast

General Business Information

WATER RATES

In response to a number of questions regarding the Water Rates, we have recieved the following information from Donegal County Council.

The Standing Charge on your meter will be €350 per annum.

Then 1,000 litres or 1 Cube will be charged at €1.45 cents.
If you are connected to the public sewer system you will be charged an additional 0.96 cent bringing the charge to €2.41.

Billing frequency is based on usage.

10 cubes a day will be billed monthly
1-10 cubes a day will be billed quarterly
less than 1 cube a day will be bi annually.

Fixed Charges for those without a meter

Non Domestic only  €350
Non Domestic with sewer connection €400
Domestic and Non Domestice €236
