What we do
The Buncrana Chambers of Commerce has been operating for 7 years and has been working for the needs and interests of the business community in the Buncrana and greater Inishowen area.
Over the years the Chamber has organized trade and fashion shows, information evenings, the Buncrana business gift voucher scheme and assisted with many other events in an effort to promote their members, represent their needs, and assist in the economic development of Buncrana and the surrounding area.
Fundamental to the Chamber is providing a voice for local business, particularly on issues which can adversely affect business such as litter, traffic, public amenities, parking, tourism, increasing commercial costs and rates.
In particular in the current economic climate businesses are having to make savings to maintain profits levels, to keep people in jobs and sustain the local economy. So it is critical for Inishowen to have continued representation from a body like the Chambers, to highlight the area’s economic issues at the highest political level.
